We stole this Valentine idea from the internet. I stole it from here, but I’m not sure who did this first… Our special twist (requested by Disney’s Next Princess) is that they are heart-shaped. She wrote each child’s name and love from her on the back of each one, and believe me, there are a lot.
With my spraymount can fixing each heart to a cardstock back, I felt like I was back in architecture school. I love having a can of spraymount in my hand, I love the smell of spraymount and I love accidentally spraymounting my fingernails and watching them collect lint. I love working with little bits of cardboard, cardstock, paper. I love coming up with an idea and making a model of it. I love xeroxing. I love measuring twice and cutting once.
I’m hoping this isn’t what drew me to architecture in the first place, but it just might be…
